Westgate Academy
Grand Adventures in Minecraft: a new after school club at Westgate Academy
Six Tuesday sessions at 4pm from 3 November, in the school IT room. £50 for the term, led by a trained School of Gaming Game Educator.

What happens in the club?
Grand Adventures takes pupils on a journey of discovery through science, inside Minecraft. Each week the group digs into a new puzzle, from chemistry and biology to astronomy, physics and engineering, and some challenges need a little coding or a mathematical brain teaser to crack.
Pupils play together in the school IT room with headsets, while a gedu, one of our trained Game Educators, leads the session online and talks with the group throughout. A member of Westgate Academy staff is in the room for every session.
