What actually goes on in a Minecraft club?
The club meets once a week at the same time, and each lesson lasts 90 minutes. The group plays Minecraft Java in our own closed world, where only the group's gamers, our Gedu and our staff can enter. Clubs are organized in multiple different languages.
School of Gaming's Gedu, aka. our trained Game Educator, leads every session. Gamers are part of a bigger story, they build the world, solve puzzles and go on adventures together, practicing teamwork, communication, creativity and problem solving along the way. For many, the best part is simple: the same friendly faces every week in the game they love.

Questions parents ask about Minecraft clubs
How much does a Minecraft club cost?
School of Gaming Minecraft clubs cost €59 a month, and the neuroinclusive small groups €89 a month. Clubs are monthly subscriptions you can cancel at any time, at no cost. The 30 day money back guarantee starts from the first lesson and is requested at help@sog.gg.
What age are the Minecraft clubs for?
School of Gaming runs Minecraft clubs for gamers aged 7 to 17. Most Minecraft groups are for kids between 7 and 12 years, but we do have a Minecraft group for teens as well! The most important thing is that your gamer can find friends and play with children of a similar age.
Do the clubs use Minecraft Java or Bedrock?
School of Gaming Minecraft clubs use Minecraft Java, which runs on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. Families buy Minecraft Java themselves. Your gamer also needs an internet connection and a headset with a microphone, because the group talks together throughout the lesson.
Console gamers can join in 2027. Exact date is still open.
Is an adult present for the whole Minecraft club?
Yes. Every School of Gaming Minecraft club has a Gedu, a trained Game Educator, for the whole lesson. Every gedu is vetted and shows a criminal record extract before certification. Safety is our priority.
Can my child join a Minecraft club in person in Helsinki?
Yes. Two School of Gaming Minecraft clubs meet at the studio in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, at Itälahdenkatu 23 B, 5th floor: one for ages 7 to 9 and one for ages 9 to 12. Both run in Finnish. All other Minecraft clubs meet online in Sogverse.
Can my child try a Minecraft club before joining?
Yes. School of Gaming runs free trial sessions where your gamer plays Minecraft with a gedu and a small group before your family decides anything. You will find them in the Sogverse shop.
